Projects and creations by students in the Master’s program in Arts, Literature, and Civilizations (ALC)
The Arts, Humanities and Civilizations major offers in-depth theoretical, aesthetic and critical training in works and their contexts, creative practices, publishing processes, cultural production, reception and cultural transfers, with progressive specialization in each of its four courses:
The Master's program combines research and professionalization, theoretical teaching and more "practical" courses, combining traditional literary courses, a sociology of art and culture course, and a professional cultural mediation course,
This program prepares students for careers requiring a high level of literary and artistic culture: higher education and research in French, Francophone and comparative literature, the arts and the sociology of art and culture; cultural mediation, including international mediation; publishing, writing and literary translation.
