Application dates for distance learning courses

Requests for applications must be made within the framework of the establishment's calendars and arrangements. Applications that do not respect this framework will not be accepted.

Candidacy campaign

  • Master's 1 in French as a Foreign and Second Language (online): February 17, 2026, to March 17, 2026, on the Mon Master platform
  • Master 2 in French as a Foreign and Second Language (online): May 11, 2026,to June 18, 2026, viathe e-candidat application
  • DU French as a foreign and second language (distance learning) on thee-candidat application
    • Application Period 1: Tuesday, May 19 to Tuesday, June 30, 2026
      Please note: Applications under the VAPP program must be submitted by Tuesday, June 30, 2026 (single application period) via eCandidat
    • Application Period 2: Tuesday, August 25, through Monday, September 21, 2026.
If you wish to apply for validation of personal and professional experience (VAPP) in the DU FLEAD or Master 2 distance learning FLES courses, you must submit your application via e-candidat when you submit your application, a field is reserved for this purpose.

Validation of studies, professional experience or personal achievements (VAPP)

The VAPP enables people who do not have the required qualifications to gain access to the various levels of higher education.
Prerequisites:
  • Be over 20 years of age on the planned date of resumption of studies.
  • If you do not have a baccalauréat, you must have interrupted your initial training for at least 2 years.
  • If you are unsuccessful in your course of study, integrated through the VAPP procedure, you need to provide proof of 3 years' interruption before you can reapply.
  • Demonstrate the personal and professional skills required to follow the training course.
