Litt&Arts - Arts and practices of text, image, screen and stage
Created in 2016, the Litt&Arts research unit brings together around 70 teacher-researchers, as many PhD students in Lettres and Arts du spectacle, a CNRS researcher, supported by a group of 3 digital humanities engineers(ELAN) and 4 administrative staff. The scientific ambition of the "&" is to multiply the fruitful cross-fertilizations between literary studies and the performing and screen arts. This cross-fertilization takes two main forms: the first is "digital convergence", which enables new ways of processing texts as well as images, voices and gestures; the second is research-creation, supported by the Maison de la Création et de l'Innovation (MaCI) in Grenoble, with spectacular facilities for cinema, theater, dance and circus, as well as for digital text.
