IP web and ETC

Each semester, some of your training obligations may include pedagogical choices: minor, modern language, complementary option, etc. These choices must be contracted online via a web IP, at two key times of the year: September (semester 1) and January (semester 2). These choices must be contracted online via a web IP, at two key points in the year: September (semester 1) and January (semester 2).

Web-based pedagogical registration (IP web)

The IP web is a compulsory procedure that allows you to select the courses you wish to take in your course.
Depending on your training, you may have to choose from :
  • A minor
  • One modern foreign language (MFL) per year
  • An OFC (Offre de Formation Complémentaire) course
  • An ETC (Enseignement Transversal à Choix) course

Elective courses

OFC, complementary training offer

These courses are offered in addition to your main course, and may vary from year to year and semester to semester.
Consult the list of FOC available at UFR LLASIC

ETCs, cross-disciplinary elective courses

These are courses offered by other university departments. You must both :
  • Indicate your choice on IPWeb to inform your UFR
  • Finalize a specific registration procedure with the relevant department.
ETCs are graded courses: an unjustified absence or failure to hand in a piece of work may result in a failing grade for the whole semester.

Registration procedures are specific to each service:
  • Language Services (SDL)
Placement test in chosen language
Registrations in the corresponding level
  • Transversal and Interdisciplinary Teaching Department (SETI)
Registration for a single course
  • University Physical and Sports Activities Department (SUAPS)
Registration for one sport and one time slot only.

All procedures and catalogs are available on the UGA page:
