Valuation, Culture, Citizenship
This event was organized on April 13, 2022 by Master 2 students, as part of Roselyne Ringoot's Journalism in Debate course and under the aegis of the Conférence des écoles de journalisme (CEJ).
This day follows on from the Florence Le Cam (Professor at the Université Libre de Bruxelles / LAPIJ) about the book Being a woman journalist: a sociological survey in a masculine world (EJdG, March 9) and at the meeting dedicated to the careers of women journalists/documentary-makers (EJdG, March 23) organized by Sigried Buchy with Tatiana VincentBenjamine Jeunehomme, freelance JRI working on documentaries for France TV's 13h15 program, Marie-Alix Bruckera freelance producer of reports broadcast on programs such as Sept à huit, 66 minutes, Zone interdite and Grands reportages.

The objectives are :
  • To provide keys for thinking about and understanding gender inequalities.
  • Raise awareness and propose tools to change inequalities in gendered representations of journalistic discourse and the status of women journalists in newsrooms.
  • Combating sexism and discrimination in the newsroom and in editorial production
