LLASIC training and research unit

TheUFR LLASIC (Language, Literature, Performing Arts, Information and Communication) is one of the components ofUniversité Grenoble Alpes , located at the heart of the Grenoble university campus.

Fields of activity

It contributes to the development of research by laboratory activities. It prepares students for examinations and competitive examinations, and teaches students from theINSPÉ (Institut national supérieur du professorat et de l'éducation)to the teacher training.

Its main vocation is teaching and research in the following areas:

Teaching

TheLLASIC UFR, located on the Saint-Martin-d'Hères campus, offers bachelor's and master's degrees in the fields of literature, language sciences and performing arts. It also offers a distance-learning course in French as a Foreign and Second Language (FLES).
TheÉchirolles site, housed in theInstitut de la Communication et des Médias (ICM) building, offers a range of courses in the Information-Communication Master's program. This site is also home to the Journalism master'sprogram offered by theGrenoble School of Journalism (EJdG ), under an agreement with Grenoble's IEP that enables a double-diploma to be awarded, as well as the Information-Communication bachelor's degree and the Digital professions professional bachelor's degree: web design, writing and production.
Bachelor's degree courses are also offered in Valence, such as the Performing Arts - Modern Literature and Classical Literature courses.

The LLASIC UFR has signed partnership agreements with a number of organizations to deliver its various courses. The most important of these are the CNED for distance learning, the Conservatoire for the Performing Arts, Ardèche Images for the Creative Documentary master's program, theGrenoble IEP for the Journalism master's program, GEM for a Bachelor of Arts program, Mediat for a Bachelor of Arts program (non-exhaustive list).

H3S Faculty (Humanities, Health, Sport, Society)

Our UFR is part of the H3S Faculty (Humanities, Health, Sport, Society)which brings together 7 UGA components: UFR ARSH, LLASIC, SHS, STAPS, SoCLE, the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Pharmacy.

This grouping of components was born of the ambition to create a meeting point between diverse university communities who share an interest in human beings, in all their meanings.
