Activities

The Information and Communication Sciences (ICS) department is located in theInstitut de la Communication et des Médias (ICM) in Echirolles. It counts 400 students, 65 doctoral students, 38 teaching and research staff9 administrative and technical staff.
The Information and Communication Sciences department's training courses provide an insight into the following areas communication strategies and practices while reflecting on their development contexts (social, political, economic, etc.) and their relationships with audiences.

Training

The department offers a range of initial training courses from bachelor's to doctorate level, as well as continuing education for adults returning to school.

The Information-communication license, available in the 3rd year of a bachelor's degree aims to acquire theoretical and methodological knowledge in Information and Communication Sciences. At the start of the 2021 academic year, two options will be available: communication-oriented or journalism-oriented.

There is also a Licence professionnelle Métiers du numérique : conception, rédaction et réalisation web which provides training in the converging fields of online communication, website administration and Internet marketing.

The Information-communication Master's degree offers a number of career paths designed to prepare students for the specific professional requirements of each information and communication sector:
