The Master's degree in Language Sciences offers a double diploma in Applied Romance Linguistics at the Pedagogical University of Krakow and a Master's degree in Language Sciences, Linguistics at the UGA. Both degrees are taught in French.

Students complete their first year of the Master's program at the University of Grenoble Alpes, while the second year takes place in Krakow. At the end of the Master's program, students are awarded both diplomas, enabling them to broaden their qualifications and facilitate their professional integration.
Master's degree presentation
This course is designed to train specialists with a solid generalist background in language sciences: phonetics, phonology, lexicology, morphology, syntax, semantics, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics. On this generalist basis, the specialization courses offered are directly supported by research laboratories (LIDILEM, LIG, etc.). Research work is naturally integrated into the themes of these laboratories and draws on recognized skills, some of which are unique to the University of Grenoble.
Job opportunities
The training leads naturally to careers in research and higher education (teacher-researcher, researcher). The program, which is widely open to foreign students, is also ideally suited to teaching general linguistics or French linguistics at foreign universities.
Other career possibilities include: linguistics, linguistic attaché, language policy advisor (for publishing houses, the European Union, cultural services, museums, health structures, etc.). The course is also a specialization for professionals such as speech therapists, school teachers, specialized educators and early childhood educators.
