The Performing Arts courses provide a general knowledge of theater and cinema, and an introduction to a range of careers in the performing arts sector.
A word from management
The courses offered in the Performing Arts degree combine theoretical knowledge (history and aesthetics, dramaturgy, spectator workshops, scenes and society) with practical experience (body workshop, stage management workshop, camera workshop, acting practice, improvisation, writing for the stage, writing for the cinema, etc.) and include a pre-professional component (locations and professions in the film and performing arts industries, budget management, administration, mediation, IT, etc.).
Training
In Grenoble, students can take a Bachelor's degree Performing Artsand in Valence, a Licence Performing Arts - Modern Literature.
For further studies, the Master's degree in artistic creation is a particularly original option in the panorama of national training programs. Open to the contemporary world, it offers the opportunity to acquire in-depth theoretical, aesthetic and critical knowledge of works and the creative processes involved in their production, to approach the contexts of production and distribution, and to experiment with creative practices, taking into account the most current thinking in the fields covered by its three courses:
