Take a look at what's been going on at the Bulles library over the past few weeks...
This season opened with the 3rd edition of the bookmark competition. Nearly 20 entries were entered, and it was hard to decide between them! Congratulations once again to Laurine Charpentier, who won over our panel of judges with her proposal that brought together a reader in an underwater library and humpback whales, to illustrate the theme "20,000 leagues under my library". If you haven't already done so, come and pick up your copy!
Throughout the month of March, doctoral students and researchers from UFR LLASIC presented one aspect of their work after another at the "Cycle de rencontres Bulles. An opportunity to create resonances between the various disciplines taught at the UFR. A variety of themes were tackled: science fiction, gender, language, circus arts... A new format that met with success.
Another new feature in May was the Nature daywhich, among other things, aimed to showcase books and borrowable gardening equipment, and to promote "barter-bouture". As the members of the Bulles team are all budding gardeners (as evidenced by the library's rather verdant atmosphere), this theme was an obvious choice!
